Очень хорошая подборка, вся «по делу» – обстоятельства написания книг, расширенные сведения о мире, переписка с издателями и читателями, в меру – философские и религиозные размышления. Толкиен сам был против чрезмерного «копания в биографии», и книга этому верна.
Одну звезду приходится снять за особенности DRM, по которым не только меньше доступных форматов чтения, но и существующие не всегда работают.
