Ничего НЕОБЫЧНОГО для современного человека! Но много уникального для коллекционера, любителя истории и просто ценителя КРАСОТЫ ЧЕЛОВЕЧЕСКОГО ТЕЛА, не испорченного никакой пластической хирургией…

С позиции «модельной» красоты современности (90-60-90, а лучше 120-60-90;) ) эти изображения, пожалуй, слишком грубы своей близостью к реальности…И именно поэтому милы – простой красотой обычного (читай – не «модельного») тела!!!

The book is nise somehow, but not all. Where there are paintings and sketches and statuettes of the nude they are (at least for me) just another proof of artist's talent, without particulaar attention of what the author may think about their motives. It's just a good album, sometimes a good illustration to artisi's manner or style. Yet the photohraphs illustrate another tendency and they are (mostly) clumsy and 'mechanical", they are extremely commercial, they are made in haste by people without a talent just for sale. Maybe once that photos had some hidden meaning for sailors of pious puritans who bought them – and now they illustrate the title of the book – and nothing else.
